Linfield Christian School In Temecula, California

LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO LINFIELD CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IN TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA.  The first link below is the Linfield Christian School Facebook page.  And, the second link is a video of a Linfield mother explaining why she and her husband are so blessed by the sacrifice they make to keep their six children in this wonderful school.

The video story this mother tells, of their sacrifice to keep their children at Linfield and the joy of having their children in such a caring Christian school which teaches Jesus Christ alongside academic subjects - is the same for our five grandchildren.

All five of our grandchildren attend, or have attended, Linfield, the youngest four from Kindergarten.  Our oldest, Elyssa, attended another great Christian school, Stoneybrooke Christian School in San Juan Capistrano, before moving and transferring to Linfield.   Elyssa is now doing graduate work for her teaching credentials at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.  Westmont and Linfield are both Christian educational organizations begun by the same wealthy Christian lady in 1937.

Every day I praise God for the sacrifices our son and daughter-in-law are making to assure that our children are in Linfield Christian School where praying and praising God is not the exception - but, the blessed standard.

The reason I first offer you the Linfield Christian School Facebook page - is that our grandson, Kobe, is part of their cover photo - third from the left.    In the cover photo, behind the students you can see the lake which gives the Linfield campus the peaceful ambiance of a park.  Great place for the students to gather, socialize, and study.

And, I want to close by saying how blessed Dory and I feel every time we attend Grandparents' Day at Linfield Christian School.  It is such a blessing to join with the students and faculty to pray, sing Christian songs, and spend time with our children and their teachers at Linfield.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

ABC To Air Show Titled
"Good Christian Bitches"

If you are aware of a person's intent to come into your home and attack you family, your children -- what would you do to prevent this type of "home invasion"? Would you defend your family? Well, it is time to take a stand to defend your family, your family values, and your Christian values.

ABC television's upcoming Prime Time show "Good Christian Bitches" is in the works today. And, the show features the tagline: “For Heaven’s sake, don’t let God get in the way of a good story!”

Critics Slam ABC Pilot "Good Christian Bitches": http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2011/03/04/critics-slam-abc-pilot-good-christian-bitches-inappropriate-damaging-title/print

Can you imagine the world uproar if their show was named "Good Muslim Bitches" or "Good Jewish Bitches" or even "Good Buddhist Bitches"? Then, why shouldn't the Christian world be in an uproar demanding the same respect for our Christian faith?

Many years ago, I loved the show "The Flying Nun" starring Sally Field, who also starred in the family friendly television series "Gidget." Yes, for many years, Sally Field was a role model for family friendly values on television. Then, in 2007, at the Emmy Awards, while accepting her award -- Sally Field, on world-wide television -- cursed the name of God. Since then, I cannot stand to see her on television. If even a commercial comes on featuring Sally Field, I will change the channel.

Fox Explains Censorship Of Actors At Emmys: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/18/arts/television/18emmy.html

Ms. Field used an expletive in saying that if mothers ruled the world, there would be no wars. She won the Emmy for her performance as Nora Walker, a liberal matriarch whose son is headed to Iraq for combat duty, on the ABC drama “Brothers & Sisters.”

Backstage after her acceptance, Ms. Field said she “would have liked to say more four-letter words up there.”

But she added that she “probably shouldn’t have said” the word that was censored. “If they bleep it, oh well, I’ll just say it somewhere else,” she said.

Kathy Griffin's Jesus Remark Cut From Emmy Show: http://www.reuters.com/article/2007/09/11/us-griffin-emmys-idUSN1144512920070911

In 2007, comedienne Kathy Griffin, in her Emmy Award acceptance speech declared, "A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus," an exultant Griffin said, holding up her statuette. "Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now."

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This was so offensive that the secular Emmy Awards Show producers edited it out of the taped version. But, unfortunately, not before millions had seen it on television. Today, I will not watch any show, period, on which this woman appears. I would rather go to a barn and shovel manure -- than to see her on any venue.

Personally, I boycott any and all shows which include Sally Field or Kathy Griffin. Does my boycott cause them any loss of money or fame? No, but, it most certainly allows me to respect myself -- and, I personally feel that it pleases God.

But, just imagine if ALL CHRISTIAN believers are offended and personally boycott all shows and commercials featuring these two ladies -- what an impact that would have on these ladies and on all businesses who advertise on shows which feature these ladies.

Yes, my Christian brothers and sisters, we CAN impact who and which "home invasions" enter our homes via the television. Are you willing to do it, to protect your family, for you own personal self-respect, and to please the God we serve?

Another more immediate thing YOU can do, right now, is to visit the "American Family Association Action Alert" web page and sign their petition. I have. Will you join me?

A Petition To ABC And Parent Company Disney http://secure.afa.net/afa/activism/signpetition.asp?id=1920

This message is my plea for all Christians, world-wide, to join me in telling the secular television and media "money worshiping" bosses, "We Christians demand the same respect you give to Muslims, Buddhists, Atheists, Secularists, and all other world religions. Stop defaming our God and our faith!"

It is time that we stand and tell the secular world, "We are tired of your attacks on our Christian faith -- and we won't take it anymore!"

If you agree with me, please share this with ALL your Friends, Relatives, Associates, and Neighbors -- all your FRANs. Let's all stand tall in our Christian faith

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

We Can Change Our World -
One Person At A Time!

In the TimesDaily Religion Forum today, my Friend, Vic, began a discussion titled A Miraculous Cure" -- about a man blinded in one eye by an explosion. Then, twenty years later, he recovered his sight when he bathed his eyes in the waters of the Our Lady of the Grotto fountain and prayed. I will not say that the water had any special affect -- but, we all know that prayer can and does have amazing results.

Of course, all our atheist, secularist, and other non-believing Friends immediately started mouthing those worn out old questions, "If He is a God of love; why does he allow people to be sick and injured? Why does He allow bad things to happen?"

My answer to those queries today:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

God loves us all so much that He gave us "free will" -- the ability to think and choose as individuals. Can anyone really say that he/she would prefer that God makes all the decisions and allows us no choice in any matter? I would not want that -- and neither does God. I don't believe anyone wants this.

Why? Well, if you had FORCED your spouse to marry you -- how would you know if you are loved? You might as well go to the store and buy a robot or a rubber doll if that is the kind of love you prefer.

When God gave man "free will" -- with that came the ability to do good or to do evil. When one person chooses to use his/her free will to harm another -- that is man working, not God. Could God stop such actions? Yes. But, then He would be invalidating His gift of free will.

So, when you see a person committing genocide, infanticide, or just murder in general -- that is not God working, that is man's creative genius at work.

But, Uno, and our other atheist, secularist, and vanilla flavored non-believers -- if you want to stop some of these horrible actions from occurring, I have a suggestion. Pray! But, first, you must sincerely pray to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior -- and, then, your prayers will be heard in the throne room of God the Father.

If all the atheist, secularist, and other non-believers did this -- can you imagine the effect it would have on the world? This, alone, would virtually stop all murders, terrorism, and other crimes. For, if these people become Christ Followers, how can they be praying to God and committing such evils at the same time?

I know, I know -- you will bring up the people in churches who are child predators. However, you are forgetting one thing -- I said if these people sincerely become Christ Followers. Just because a person is a priest, pastor, or anyone else "claiming" to be a Christian -- this does not make him/her a Christian.

Being a Christian is not putting on holy robes or putting on your Christian hat. Being a Christ Follower is to sincerely seek and find your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ -- and, then to repent, turn from the ways of the world, and turn to follow Him. This, if done by all atheists, secularist, and other non-believers -- could be world changing.

Why not give it a try -- and see what effect YOUR turning and praying can have upon our world?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Imagine a world where many atheists, secularists, and other non-believers turn from their worldly endeavors -- and sincerely turn to Jesus Christ? Can you see the dramatic effect this would have on our world? What have YOU done today to make this happen?

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill Gray

Gianna Jessen: Abortion Survivor! - Video

Today, a young lady, a Christian sister, shared this video on Facebook -- and I have to continue that sharing on every venue God has given me. This video is the most important I have ever watched. And, I urge you to watch it and to share it.

GIANNA JESSEN - ABORTION SURVIVOR:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOWMmx6eBjU

SHARE THIS VIDEO WITH THE WORLD! -- I thank my dear sister in Christ, Valerie Zin, for making me aware of this video.

In the late 1990s, my wife, Dory, and I attended an anti-abortion fund raising concert hosted by Dr. David Hocking and Pat Boone at Calvary Church in Santa Ana, California. The two special guests were Joni Eareckson Tada and a teenage girl in a wheel chair who had survived a Saline Abortion.

For those not familiar with saline abortions -- to an unborn baby it is like giving it a bath in acid. This method of abortion is intended to burn the unborn child to death in the womb. At the concert, this teenage girl in her wheel chair sang a love song to Jesus Christ. That teenage girl we saw at the concert -- is the beautiful lady in this video, Gianna Jessen.

Who can better speak, in person and in her life -- against abortion, all abortions, than this lady? Who can speak of the glory of God's love -- louder than this articulate lady? Who should we, the world, be listening to -- this lady blessed by God with life -- or the abortionists who get rich by killing, snuffing out the lives, of millions of unborn babies each year?

I thank God for Gianna Jessen; I thank God for her brave stance against the infanticide of millions of babies each year via legal abortions; I thank God for Gianna Jessen's life and courage.

This could be the most important sixteen minutes of your life. This sixteen minute video -- just may save the life of ONE UNBORN BABY! Share this video and this message with the world!

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill Gray

Using "OMG" And The "F" Word On Public Forums

In the past few weeks, my heart has been burdened. I am seeing a proliferation of people, mostly young, but some not so young, who I know to be Christian and who I know come from good Christian families - flagrantly posting two very offensive words/phrases on Facebook. What are these that I find so offensive? First, is the initials "OMG" and the second is the "F" word.

Why are these so offensive to me? Well, OMG is texting shorthand for "Oh, my God!" - which is taking God's name in vain. God takes His name and His glory very serious. That is why He wrote in the Bible, "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, . . ." (Exodus 20:7).  So, just because it is abbreviated; makes it no less offensive - to God and to all Christian believers.

Creating slang versions of His name is the same, i.e., saying "Geez" or "Jeezus" - is just as bad as using, "Oh, Jesus!" as an exclamation.

Most of the people I have seen writing these have relatively good education - and I am sure that, if that person tries just a little, he/she can find a more appropriate word to use to vent their frustration, to highlight their point, or to make an exclamation.

And, what does surprise me the most - is that 95% of the people I have seen recently using these offensive words on public forums - are female.

When we, especially we Christian believers, post on public forums such as Facebook - we are representing all Christian believers; and we are representing our Lord. We are told in 2 Corinthians 5:20, "Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God."

When I read this Scripture verse, I am reminded of a story my good Friend and mentor, Pastor Sam Lacanienta, told us many years ago.  When Pastor Sam was a young pastor in the Philippines, one Sunday a relative who also was the Philippine Ambassador to England, came to the worship service.  After the service, Pastor Sam asked him what it meant to be an ambassador for his country.  He told Pastor Sam, "My main job as an ambassador to England - is to not embarrass my nation while doing my job."

As Christian ambassadors for Christ when we write on public forums, and even when in private discussions - we should be very aware of not embarrassing our Lord.

For my young Friends, when you post such words on Facebook and other networking channels - keep in mind that you are representing first, your Lord; then, yourself - and, very important - you are representing YOUR FAMILY, your mom, your dad, your siblings - all your family.

So, please, I know that you do not purposely want to be offensive - and I know you do not want to embarrass your family or yourself.  Therefore, when you write on Facebook or other networking channels - write your message as though you are writing it to your mother.  Write messages you would not be ashamed to have your mother and father read.  And, write messages which will glorify our Lord.

And, to my non-believing Friends, while you may or may not find these words offensive; keep in mind when you post on any Forum or network channel - that those things are offensive to we Christians.  So, as a courtesy to us, please do try to find other words or phrases to use.  For that, we thank you.

Thank you and God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill Gray

Are We "Dumbing Down" Our Young People?

Hi to my Forum Friends,

If you ask your children, or grandchildren, to tell you the meaning of the Fourth of July -- what will they tell you? If you tell them it was the American War of Independence -- will they know who we fought for our independence? According to this report; most of them cannot answer either question.

On the PBS NewsHour show last night with news anchor, Judy Woodruff, during the Political Wrap session, a weekly session of political analysis with syndicated columnist Mark Shields and New York Times columnist David Brooks -- they discussed an alarming fact about the American education system today.

The following is a transcript of that portion of the show which really caught my attention -- 25% of Americans polled (40% of those 19-29 years old) -- DID NOT know who American fought to win our Independence. Tomorrow is our Independence Day, July 4th -- and one fourth to almost one half of Americans do now know what we really celebrate:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

JUDY WOODRUFF: Speaking of the Fourth of July, a poll I noticed today -- Marist College in New York did a poll which showed that a fourth of Americans, when you ask them from what country did the United States win its independence, one-fourth of Americans said they weren't sure or they didn't know. And 40 percent of 18-to-29-year-olds in this country said they didn't know or weren't sure.

What does that say?

DAVID BROOKS: Yes. I think it is an insult to Abraham Lincoln's leadership of the Revolutionary War. (He was making a joke!)

DAVID BROOKS: No. To me, the substance of it is that we have traded history for social studies in schools, that we don't do the ABCs, here is what happened when.

And I notice this when I talk to kids, including sometimes my own kids. They just don't get the dates. They don't get the dates. They don't have the scaffolding of history. And they do a lot more social structure. They do cultures. They do this. They do that.

But they don't have the basic -- the facts and lineage of what happened when. And, so, those basic facts if, you don't have the scaffolding, you are not going to remember. You're not going to know how to organize it and put it all together into some sort of theory.

MARK SHIELDS: We're a lot more sensitive, but we're a lot less informed.

What is rather terrifying is the figure you cited about 40 percent of the people under the age of 29. And 80 percent, close to, over -- those over 45 do know. There was something going on in schools. The people, the older people are less likely to have gone to college than are the younger ones.

And the idea that somebody is going through college and graduating and not knowing a fundamental fact like that is terrifying and it's depressing. And...

JUDY WOODRUFF: I mean, when I saw the poll, I looked at it and looked at it again, and checked the validity, checked it with another pollster, and they said, these are real numbers.

MARK SHIELDS: Yes. It's not good news.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Now, contrast that with Naturalized Americans -- those who are born in another country, then immigrate to America -- and, on a very proud day years later; become American Citizens! I am proud to say my wife is one of these Naturalized American Citizens.

But, they do not just raise their hands, swear allegiance, and then are handed a certificate. No, they have to pass a test to become an American Citizen. I wonder, if we who were so fortunate to be born in America -- if we had to take this same test to affirm and keep our American Citizenship; how many could pass the test?

A major part of that test is about American History and the American Government. Right now, I am looking at one of the books my wife, Dory, had to study for her citizenship. The title is "Our American Government" -- not a pamphlet; no, this book is a text book, one inch thick.

We have to take our hats off to the Naturalized American Citizens -- for they most likely know more about America, our history and our government, than most young Americans who have graduated from college in the last few decades.

As news anchor, Judy Woodruff, asks us, "What does that say?" Yes, what does that say about the American Education System? It tells me that we have traded our American Heritage, our American History -- for a Liberal Social Agenda.

This tells me that we in America are "dumbing down" our young people and getting them into "lock step" with a Liberal Socialist Agenda. We have begun to emulate China as we systematically "dumb down" the American citizenry.

Wake up! America! It is time for a rebirth of the America which was born on July 4th, 1776!

Our Pledge of Allegiance tells us: I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

True, the phrase one nation under God was not in the Pledge of Allegiance until 1954, when it was incorporated by an act of Congress. The original Pledge was written by Francis Bellamy (1855 - 1931), a Baptist minister -- who was also a Socialist.

As chairman a committee of state superintendents of education in the National Education Association, he prepared the program for the public schools' quadricentennial celebration for Columbus Day in 1892. He structured this public school program around a flag raising ceremony and a flag salute, for which he wrote his "Pledge of Allegiance."

But, being a Christian who was also a Socialist; he left God out of the picture. In 1891, he was pressured into leaving his church because of his socialist sermons.

However, praise God, our national leaders in Congress were led, in 1954, to acknowledge what God has done in raising up America as a freedom loving nation and a beacon to oppressed people from around the world.

Yes, we have had our dark moments, such as that shadow cast upon our nation by the institution of slavery. That is a sign of our human weaknesses; while still serving under our omnipotent God. Being a Christian nation, we eventually drove that institution of darkness, slavery followed by segregation -- out of our American society.

But, unfortunately, in 1963, our Supreme Court also evicted God from much of America. In 1963, the Supreme Court held hands with the ACLU in evicting God from our schools -- and progressively, systematically, the ACLU has been working to evict God and the Ten Commandments from all aspects of the American society.

Maybe, if our Pledge of Allegiance had included God back in 1892 -- the Supreme Court emboldened ACLU attacks upon our Christian heritage and God would not be occurring.

Continue to pray for our nation, for our Christian American society, and for our American leaders. But, remember all of this when you vote in November.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill Gray

School Bus Driver Preaches Gay Agenda To
Young Children On School Bus - Video

How would you feel if your young child came home and told you that the public school bus driver had lectured her about gay marriage and told one of her classmates, about her, "She is a stupid little bigot!" And, she told the classmate, "I will eat her alive!"

Then, the bus driver told the students that anyone who does not agree with her, in her words, "Belongs in a parochial church school" -- and, when she said "church" she spit it out like she had rotten food in her mouth.

Do you feel that this school bus driver was right to do this to young children riding on her bus?

This is what has happened on a public school bus in Indiana -- and, when the parents, educated professional people, complained to the school district -- they were told that the driver was well within the scope of her employment contract.

Do you think this is right?

Watch this video and judge for yourself. Then, ask yourself how you would feel if this were your daughter or granddaughter.

Then, try and tell me that the gay community does not have an agenda in our public schools. God has been evicted from our public schools -- but, the gay agenda is alive and well -- even on the school bus riding to and from school.

If our children are not safe from this kind of indoctrination, even on the school bus -- where are they safe? Who is next to teach the gay agenda to our children -- the school janitor? And, is this defined in the scope of his job also?
http://action.afa.net/Blogs/BlogPost.aspx?id=2147494982

Please, please -- do share this with your Friends, Relatives, Associates, and Neighbors -- all your FRANs. Our children are special blessing from God -- and He has charged us with protecting them from harm -- physically and spiritually.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill Gray
